Hello students & welcome back!

 

Another year has started at BLKT and I hope you all had a great holiday and a good rest. What did you do in the summer holidays? Where did you go? I would love to know so next time you see me in the corridor or classroom, you can tell me. I have recess duties on all the floors so if you see me or the other teachers don’t be shy, come and chat. Speaking in English every day can really help you to improve your skills in learning English. It can build confidence and you can learn so many new things just by chatting! This kind of action is called being ‘proactive’ – where you take ownership of something – in this case: YOUR learning. You become responsible for your learning. Being proactive is a great skill to have. It requires courage to try something new and the discipline to keep working at something even when you think it’s difficult. Keep at it! You can do it!

 

It’s great to see you all back at school having lessons and enjoying your learning. It’s going to be another busy year and I hope you all can try your best and work hard to achieve your goals.
