Teacher Thomas

Hi everyone my name is Teacher Thomas and I am incredibly excited to be joining the BLKT community as one of the new NET teachers this year. I am 34 years old and originally from Namibia (Africa). I am an international rugby player for my country and have represented them at the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan. I have played for my country for 10 years and amounted 20 tests during that time.

 

I left behind two of my dogs, Jemma the Husky and Joy the German Shepard. I would take them for walks everyday back home and weekends we would go for hikes. I have left them in the safe hands of my mother and sister.

 

This is my first year in Hong Kong and for the short time I have been here I have really been enjoying it. I will be teaching P5 and P6, reading and speaking. I will also be looking to assist with the extracurricular activities.I am looking at creating an inspiring and engaging educational experience for the learners. I believe that every student has the potential to achieve greatness and I am committed to helping each one reaching their full potential. Let us make this school year memorable and a successful one.
